Damian scowled at Mika and his sister as the two burst into laughter. Was his actions really that funny? He didn't mean for it to be funny. They were supposed to be mad and angry, not that he'd tell them that. If anything, he'd just say that they were only flowers at the end of the day. They'll grow back, so who cares.
Though, one wolf was clearly unimpressed by his actions. Agro. It didn't surprise Damina. Agro barely liked anything the pup did. Damian even wondered if the old fart even liked him. He didn't think he did. Why would he? All the pup did was destroy, hurt and cause trouble. Though, it didn't phase the pup that no one liked him. He didn't like anyone else, but his sister, so he didn't expect the others to like him. He was a pain and he knew it. His sister could barely put up with him and he was sure that one day she would kill him.
With one big swoop, Damian was once again for how many times that, swept up in Agro's jaws. By with a single blink, the pup was on the floor with a yelp. He cursed himself for yelping, but the pain of his injured leg hitting the ground was hard to conceal. Growls and snarls broke lose as he tried to squirm away from the puddle in front of him. It stank badly, but the pup was not about to complain and let Agro win. He pulled and tugged, but he could not escape the male. After a few more attempts the pup gave up. He lay there panting hard underneath the wolf's legs. Though, his temper was still scoring high pints.
He was determined to bite at the older wolf, but at the promise of finding out about this stupid flower thing was intriguing to him. He hated to be in the dark, so finding out what this thing was would be very helpful to him. So, instead of fighting back, the pup lay still and moved his nose away from the puddle, hoping to get rid of the smell a little. “Tell us before you die of old age, you old fart” Damian growled from underneath the wolf. He wanted to know what this Bloomsday was.

''Yeah, I would like to know more about Bloomsday, too.'', Mikazaru said smiling while looking at Agro. He still cuckled a bit after Damian had peed on those nice looking flowers, he still couldn't put a serious face.
He got up and stretched himself and felt something wet and sticky in his fur. Confused, he looked at his fur. There was a booger stuck in his black fur, he could see it sparkle. He frowned and sat back down to clean it. He couldn't remember he had wiped the booger from his sneeze into his fur. At last, he didn't even remember he had caused a booger with his sneeze. Then who's booger was it?
Then he realized Dakota had walked past him. He had heard a second sneeze after his. Probably she was the one who had wiped off this booger into his fur. She had chosen the best moment; the moment he had sneezed, too. ''Of course, darn pup...'', he muttered and he glared at Dakota, angrily. Though he didn't say a thing. He wasn't in the mood to argue right now.
He turned back to his black fur to clean the booger out of it, at which he pulled a disgusted face. He didn't mind cleaning his own mess, but the mess from others was a different story. ''Disgusting...''

"Now then, th'ain't no reason to get all out of sorts, little lady." Agro said with his typical grin on his face. "Ye mind yer manners, or I can put ye down with Tinkles here. Seems ye like ter spend yer time together alright, but it hardly seems a way to treat a lady proper day before Bloomsday."
Turning his grinning face toward Afanen, his good brow furrowed. "Did I forget to tell ye about Bloomsday las' year? No, if'n I can recall, the two ' ye weren't 'ere for it." He chuckled a little. Afanen and her sister had become two very valuable members to their ranks.
"Lemme see here if'n I can remember how it goes." He clucked his tongue. He learned the story when he was Damian's age, with his sister and brother. Ah, his sister had grinned so wickedly when she learned the rules of the day.
"Now, the story goes that a young wolf had found 'imself a pretty piece o' land to call 'is own. But, in order for this fella to start a pack, he was goin'ter need a lass to help 'im build it.
So, he began'ter look for a gal to be 'is own. Finally, he found her, the purdiest she-wolf that ever walked the earth. And she was strollin' right through his territ'ry. 'Course he was smitten right away with her, and wanted to make her his own.
The female, however, wasn't interested. She told 'im that he was a handsome devil, fer certain, but... she didn't think 'im mate material. So, 'e told 'er that 'e would do anything to get change'r mind. The poor lad brought'er flowers, food, gifts. But it was never enough. She'd find something new to complain abou' every single time."
Agro chuckled and turned his eye to Dakota. "She sounds a bit like you, missy." He teased. All in good fun, of course, but with the old wolf's distraction halfway through his story, it would take the complaining of a few of his friends to get him back on course to finish the story.

But Mikazaru wasn't sure whether he was really grinning or whether it was just his typical face he always pulled.
''Lemme see here if'n I can remember how it goes. Now, the story goes that a young wolf had found 'imself a pretty piece o' land to call 'is own. If Mikazaru could place dots next to his head, he would have done so. He had never expected the story of Bloomsday would have started like this. He had thought from the beginning he heard of Bloomsday, he would hear some sort of lecture about the history of it all. But it was a story. Pretty sad, but still a nice story. He was so confused and needed to process everything after hearing this all, that he completely forgot to response to Agro or the others.
He looked around the area at the others a few times, but just as him, the others seemed to be processing this story, as it was pretty quiet for a moment. Then Agro spoke again.
''She sounds a bit like you, missy.'', Agro said as he looked at Dakota. Mikazaru chuckled a little, understanding Agro was saying something funny. But still he was processing the story in his head. Step by step by step. And his processing mode was always 'stuck in traffic', so that might take a while.

"Lemme see here if'n I can remember how it goes."
“Probably not” Damian mumbled to himself. “Old fart” He jabbed as he grumbled from underneath Agro's large paws. He wondered how old the wolf actually was and how long he had left on the earth. The pup hoped that it wouldn't be very long, but deep down he knew that was a lie. He wasn't fond of the wolf, but Damian knew that someone else took over, he and his sister would have been thrown out. They would not last long on their own as it had been shown. Agro kept them safe and despite that he hated to admit it, he let them have a family. Something that Damian never wanted, aside from his sister. However, it was something that he was stuck with for the time being. Though, who knew if he would ever leave them when he came of age.
Damian patiently listened to the story and wondered if it was true or just a pup's tale. It sounded pretty stupid to Damian. Love was not something that ever crossed his mind. He could not imagine himself with pups or a mate. He'd have his sister help rule Blacktalon when it was his turn to take the reins. He knew that it would be him and not the others. Claudius was useless and lazy, Mika had already proven his weak he was and the brothers, Damian had not met them properly, but he could imagine how terrible they would be as Alpha. He was the only male left that suited the job.....unless a female ran it. Now that would be Damian's main competition. The girls. His sister.
“This guy needs to move on and stop wasting time on stupid things like love.” Damian commented, still underneath Agro. However, he could not believe Agro when he called the male a poor lad. There was nothing poor about him. He tried to win a girls heart, he lost, tough luck. Why beg over something that would never happen. “She is like my sister. She's strong and doesn't take any crap from desperate, useless wolves” He snorted as he glared at Claudius. Useless wolves were sickening. He couldn't understand why another wolf would waste his time on a girl that was unlikely to bow to him whims.

Claudius gave a growl of irritation when Damian went and urinated on all the flowers. Agro had worked so hard to get everything ready for today, and Damian went and ruined it.
Wandering around the flowers, he could see that although that they had the telltale urine smell, and were sodden, he hadn't damaged all of the flowers. With a look of disgust, he wouldn't touch the damp flowers, instead began searching for ones that he could use to replace the spoiled ones.
There were plenty that Agro hadn't used still around, so Claudius picked them up and placed them strategically around, not too close to the ruined flowers, so that they wouldn't be spoiled by them, but close enough to mask the smell of the pee.
Once done, he returned to the others. "I can help with the rest of the festival, if you'd like, Agro. Maybe if Damian stopped being useless for a moment, he would like to take part."[/b]
Claudius tried to hide the wicked grin on his face. He knew that his words would hit a nerve with the pup, and was glad. He was used to being told by Damian how useless he was, now it was time for a taste of his own medicine.
Bloomsday was getting closer, and they needed to make sure that everything would be ready on time.

''I can help with the rest of the festival, if you'd like, Agro. Maybe if Damian stopped being useless for a moment, he would like to take part.'', Mikazaru heard Cladius say and he shot up onto his paws, completely forgetting he should be cleaning himself.
''O-oi! What about me? I haven't done anything yet but I really would like to help. What can I do?'', he asked, worried they might forget about him and not use his skills to help them. They hadn't even asked him yet for any help. And even though he was lazy, he didn't want to feel useless.
''I wanna help, I wanna help!'', he said, wagging his tail and bouncing up and down a bit to seek for their attention. He didn't want to be left out. ''What about meeee?'' He knew he shouldn't act like a pup, but he was really willing to help the others with their preparations for Bloomsday. He couldn't bear the tension anymore to sit here all day long.

The brown she-wolf flopped down as she grew tired of standing up and watched as Damian committed the act of destroying some flowers. "Very smartly done, Dami," she grinned. That nickname would probably annoy him, but oh well, she could be annoying herself. And frankly he was annoying so she could annoy him back.
Addy zoned out for a minute or two after that, her mind filled with the prospect of sleep, she may have even zoned in and out of dreamland, but she didn't know. She was just lying on the floor, barely listening to a word anyone said, her eye lids drooping slowly eventually closing completely.
She vaguely listened to the story though, catching snippets every now and then. "I think she should've accepted," she murmured without even thinking. "Living a life all on your own without that special someone doesn't sound too nice, if you think about it..." she muttered. "The she-wolf could've learnt to like him, I suppose..." she half-yawned half-thought out loud. "But what do I know..." she murmured, curling up and burying her nose in her fluffy tail.
''I wanna help, I wanna help!''
"Sure about that Mika?" she asked, smiling through her fur. "You may want to rest. Dakota and my sister will be giving you orders soon, you may wanna rest up." She then added, "Well all of you may want to..." her voice becoming quieter towards the end of her sentence as she began to doze. She may as well.

"O-oi! What about me? I haven't done anything yet but I really would like to help. What can I do? I wanna help, I wanna help! What about meeee?''
Claudius chuckled. Mikazaru must've missed the jibe at Damian. "Everything is pretty much ready now, Mik, but don't worry, I'm sure the ladies will be giving you orders soon enough."
His eyes surveyed the area. The flowers looked lovely, even though Damian had spoiled a lot of them. The new flowers that he had placed around covered up the smell, and they didn't look too bad when the new flowers were placed near them, distracting the casual eye from the pee soaked blooms.
"Sure about that Mika? You may want to rest. Dakota and my sister will be giving you orders soon, you may wanna rest up. Well all of you may want to..."
Claudius sniggered. Out of all the gathered wolves, only a couple had celebrated Bloomsday before. He was looking forward to the festival. "Sounds very ominous,"[/i] he chuckled, glancing sidelong at Mikazaru, to see how he would react. Out of the adult wolves gathered, he was the only one who was new to Bloomsday celebrations.

(posting this from my phone =p)
Marina trotted slowly toward the scent of everyone else, allowing her fur time to dry. She sighed, tired, then surveyed the scene: most of the others she had met were already there, and they had arranged flowers around the place.
"What's going on?" she asked, mostly to herself. She sat down without waiting for an answer and yawned. Damian was squished under Agro's paw - that was odd.
"Everything is pretty much ready now, Mik, but don't worry, I'm sure the ladies will be giving you orders soon enough."
Well that was a strange comment.... Marina mulled it over for a minute.
"oh!" she let out an exited cry, jumping to her paws again. "Are you doing Bloomsday? So that's what the flowers are for! My husband told me all about it. We were going to celebrate it, but we... We never got thr chance."
The lady shrunk back, eyes casting furtively about in case the ghost of Seamus planned to appear at the edge of the group. Had it really been over a year since he had died?

"Very smartly done, Dami,"
“My name is Damian. Not Dami. Don't you ever call me that” He snarled at the female. He hated it when others gave him nicknames. His name was Damian. Nothing less or nothing more. The worse culprit was his own sister. The names that she called him were annoying, but he knew that he couldn't do anything to stop her. She was stubborn and independent.
"I can help with the rest of the festival, if you'd like, Agro. Maybe if Damian stopped being useless for a moment, he would like to take part."
Damian span his head around to the best of his abilities and glared at Claudius. Who did that wolf think he was? Did he honestly think that he was better than Damian? The small pup gave out a snort at the idea. There was no way that the useless white male was better than him. It was impossible. “I think you'd find that it is you who is useless. What have you actually accomplished in your petty life? The only thing I know you've done is cause the death of your siblings” He sneered with cockiness laced into his voice with a calm stance. If the male wanted to get him to blow up in anger, then he had another thing coming.
“And, don't you understand that I have no idea what is happening here. Agro was trying to teach me and then you disrupted my learning. So shut up” He growled before he looked back up at Agro to continue the story. Inside, he felt a source of joy at lecturing Claudius. It made him feel good to know that the wolf would feel bitter towards the pup. Just the way he wanted.
Damian's attention was stolen by Addy who told Mika to rest due to the orders that his sister and her own would be giving out. He was now truly confused. Why would his sister be giving out orders to an older wolf? Not that an older wolf would be successful in ordering the pups around, but it was still a strange thing to hear. “Wait, what's going on?” The pup asked as he looked around the pack.
"Are you doing Bloomsday? So that's what the flowers are for! My husband told me all about it. We were going to celebrate it, but we... We never got thr chance."
“I wou-” Damian went to insult the female, but stopped. Something inside of him made him stop. He didn't know why or how, but he suspected that the female was still heartbroken over the lose of her husband. Damian as not stupid and was smart enough to realise that death was the reason they did not celebrate it. He wondered why he did stop for the female though? He would normally jab at Claudius and use his siblings death as a way to hurt the male. So why couldn't he do it to Marina. Maybe the pack was making him soft.

"What's going on? oh! Are you doing Bloomsday? So that's what the flowers are for! My husband told me all about it. We were going to celebrate it, but we... We never got thr chance."
Claudius smiled sadly at Marina. He knew by the way she talked about him that her husband wasn't around anymore. He gave her a small, understanding smile. "Yes, we are celebrating Bloomsday. You ladies get to boss us gents around all day,"[/i] he chuckled softly.
"I think you'd find that it is you who is useless. What have you actually accomplished in your petty life? The only thing I know you've done is cause the death of your siblings. And, don't you understand that I have no idea what is happening here. Agro was trying to teach me and then you disrupted my learning. So shut up”
Claudius felt every hair on his body rise. A fierce anger fuelled him, and he turned to look at Damian, anger and malice burning in his eyes as his eyes bored into the pup. His lips pulled back from his teeth, in a silent snarl.
As soon as his anger came, it went again. His fur lay flat again and he turned his back on Damian. He knew that he wasn't to blame for Jeremiah and Sophia's deaths. He felt the powerful guilt of leaving them behind, his brother's pained and heartbroken cries burning in his mind.
"Claudius! Where are you going? She dead, she's DEAD! CLAUDIUS!"
Claudius shook his head to free his mind from the painful memory. "If you think I'm the cause of wasting sicknesses, then I take my hat off to your imagination,"[/i] he said dryly, his voice full of dangerous warning.
Ignoring Damian completely now, he turned back to the others, a smile on his face. "So, you think we're ready, Ads?" he asked, a forced cheerfulness in his voice.

''Sure about that Mika? You may want to rest. Dakota and my sister will be giving you orders soon, you may wanna rest up. Well all of you may want to...'', Aderyn said and mikazaru looked at her, smiling. ''Yeah, I know for sure. I really wanna help.'', he said, wagging his tail. He felt like he was bouncing back and forth, but actually he was just standing still, only his tail moving. Though it felt different.
''Everything is pretty much ready now, Mik, but don't worry, I'm sure the ladies will be giving you orders soon enough.'', Claudius said after chuckling. All Mikazaru could do was sit down, his ears flat against his head and his eyes in a narrowed expression as he looked at the white male. He felt useless, and he tried to show that.
Not sure what to to say, he mumbled: ''Oi... fine... I'm not of use when it comes to these kind of things anyway.'' He looked around and at the blue sky, his eyes still narrowed and with an annoyed, kind of nasty look upon his face. He looked right into the sun, narrowing his eyes even more by the sight of the bright light.
Mikazaru didn't want to be useless. He had always been useless. Even though his parents mostly cared about him, they sometimes could be very mean to him, call him useless and sometimes even not worth living. HIs mother had even once yelled at him she prefered him death or not born at all. But still, he really missed those moments. They never had really meant it, they only said it when they were angry. And now that they were dead... Mikazaru wished he could go back in time and not get too angry or upset with his parents or siblings about the way they often thought about him. But now of course was too late. He had to deal with it.
''I guess then I will just lay down and be lazy.'', he muttered and he laid down, perking his ears again and resting his head on his paws. He stared off into the distance, going to his daydreaming world that always accepted him. The place he could stay in for hours if he wasn't disturbed.

Dakota grinned at Mikazaru with a cheeky glint in her eyes as he muttered to himself. She made a mental note to use him as her own personal tissue. She grinned to herself though it was cut off my another sneeze and groan. She put her paw over her snout and pouted for a moment (one could almost assume that she was a cute pup with that image)."Now then, th'ain't no reason to get all out of sorts, little lady." "Ye mind yer manners, or I can put ye down with Tinkles here. Seems ye like ter spend yer time together alright, but it hardly seems a way to treat a lady proper day before Bloomsday."Dakota chuckled to Agro and lifted her head in a smirk, “Like to see you try Aggy. I'm a lot faster than 'Tinkles' over there.” She decided to use the nickname that Agro provided as it suited the moment. She would add that to the list of things that would annoy her brother. A happy glint was in her eyes as she looked at Agro. Though she tried to cover it up with her cocky comment. Truth was, she liked being recognised. She hated it when people only ever paid attention to her brother and ignored her. She was just as mean as him, so she got angry when everyone pushed the credit onto Damian. Dakota liked the attention, and if rubbing boogers in someone or being cheeky got her the attention then so be it. She didn't care about being rude, she was brought up in the pits.
Dakota stopped grinning for a moment and frowned at Agro, “I'm not a lady!” she huffed at him. Damian would never let her live the title down if she was called that. She was a wolf. A pup. A female. But certainly not a lady. The thought made her scoff to herself for she tilted her head, “What's so special about Bloomsday?”
Dakota sat up and listened to Agro's storytelling. She rolled her eyes and made a fake gagging noise and the start of the story. Great, a story about love, she groaned in her head. Though she grinned when he explained that the female wolf kept turning him down. She nodded, “She sounds cool” "She sounds a bit like you, missy." “She is like my sister. She's strong and doesn't take any crap from desperate, useless wolves” Dakota cocked her head to the side and raised an eyebrow at Agro before a wide smile appeared on her face, “That does sound like me, doesn't it.” She turned her head in the same direction as Damian's and grinned wickedly, “Exactly.”"You may want to rest. Dakota and my sister will be giving you orders soon, you may wanna rest up." Aderyn's voice interrupted Dakota's grin as Dakota decided to turn her attention to her, “What now? You mean for Bloomsday...all the girls get the guys to treat them like royalty. Like the guy did in the story?” Dakota was piecing bits together and then nodded slowly as a wicked smirk appeared on her face, “Oh, I can live with that.”
Dakota made eyecontact with every single male wolf, as if thinking of what ways to torture them. Then her eyes landed on Damian's and her smirk widened into a smile.
“I guess this is a good way to get back at anyone who's angered me lately.” She smiled a sickly sweet smile, “Right, Dami?”
She trotted past Damian and Agro with a happy smirk on her face. Her mood had flipped and now she knew she was going to enjoy that day very much. She trotted over to Marina as she found her the most tolerable. Sitting down she looked up at her, “You can keep the flowers.” Dakota let out a sneeze and sniffle, “Then we get to boss the guys about. Should be fun right?” Dakota didn't mention anything about Marina's husband. She was no idiot and she could tell something had happened to him. It wasn't that she was getting soft....it was just that she didn't want to get into a sob story. Yes, that's what Dakota told herself as she turned her head back to Damian and Claudius arguing again.
“You know, for someone so mature, you sure seem to like arguing with us pups?” Dakota mentioned to Claudius, “Worried we might be right?” "If you think I'm the cause of wasting sicknesses, then I take my hat off to your imagination," “Finally! You actually listened to me.” Dakota exclaimed in an over dramatic tone, “And anyway, don't go moping and feeling sorry for yourself. Get over it. Move on. There are worse ways they could die. Trust me.”
Dakota had enough of Claudius thinking his past was so terrible, when Dakota and Damian endured more than him and they were still pups.Wolves Addressed: Agro, Damian, Marina, Claudius, Addy (the pack basically) Wolves Mentioned: Mikazaru

When Marina had made sure that Seamus was not lurking in the grass, waiting to punish her for mentioning him, she tuned back into the conversation. Damian, Dakota, and Claudius were all arguing, while the others awkwardly looked on. The snips at Claudius' siblings which seemed to anger the white male so aroused Marina's curiosity, although she pretended not to hear the goings-on. She didn't know Claudius nearly well enough to go about prying; she curled up close to the edge and hoped to get a bit of sleep before tomorrow. “Then we get to boss the guys about. Should be fun right?” The speckled lass cracked open an eye to see Dakota sit nearby, looking at Marina for a moment before turning back to snap something about Claudius' siblings again.
Marina looked at the pup for a moment, feeling a strange tug at her heart. She was a pretty child, despite her attitude; the rings around her shining brown eyes and her taller-than-average ears made Marina wonder if perhaps she was part dog; Damian looked like a hybrid as well, but not quite as much as Dakota. It must be nice to have such a spirited daughter, Marina mused before chasing the thought away.
"Oh, yes, definitely!" Marina answered hastily, realizing she had forgotten to answer. "And boy, what a holiday this is, for we certainly deserve it. You see, Dakota, lassies like us, if we're careful and smart, hold great powers over the males - whatever they may believe. A clever female can have anywolf eating out of her paw."
