Marina began to feel panicked as more and more guild members arrived. There were a lot - what if she wouldn't be allowed to leave? What if they imprisoned her forever? Come on, Marina, don't be so paranoid... She ignored her own command and edged her way to the, well, the edge of the crowd.
"Marina," Aderyn was already giving her instructions. "You seem small and lithe so I suspect you're pretty quick on your feet, so I think you should perhaps be in that main sort of back-up position with Claudius I think. I think it would be could to have a combination of strength and speed on that part of the team."
Marina nodded "Yes'm!" and slunk over to the fellow who had introduced himself as Claudius and stood beside him. Her breathing came hard and fast, as if she'd already started the hunt. What had she been thinking? She couldn't hunt an elk! She had scavenged her entire childhood and then hunted small things with Seamus - now, how would she magically now how to hunt an elk? She had never so much as gotten within ten feet of a living one, and now she would attack it.
Calm down... she forced herself to take a deep, slow breath. Just fake it 'till you make it!
"Isn't this exciting?" She turned and practically shouted to Claudius with a strained smile on her face and a frantic glint in her eye. "I can't wait! I haven't hunted elk in, like, a lifetime!"
Literally.
Tilting back her head, Marina let out a peal of laughter that could have come from a wee, innocent pup. In her mind, however, there was no joy, only terror. What if she got her head cracked open by an elk - or worse - what if she embarrassed herself? She fell silent, wishing she could opt out, although she wouldn't dare after Aderyn tore into that other lass like that.
Freckles was just gonna have to suck it up and be a woman.

Take a Chance. . . The rusty orange male glanced over at a black male asking 'who was who.' He had followed the female that had arrived and was talking with the she-wolf named Marina. The thought crossed Chance's mind that while everyone was busy he could sneak off and find his siblings. However, he was quickly shocked out of this by the male with a single eye as he very roughly treated the young pup, throwing the three-legged male. Chance ducked his head, ears laid back and wincing as Damian hit the ground. He gulped as the one eyed male addressed him, telling him he was going to be with Agro during the hunt. Not wanting to get on the male's bad side he quickly followed. The smaller male was no stranger to hunts but he never considered himself strong enough to be one of the attack wolves, not like Chase. Tail hanging between his legs he hoped he wouldn't ruin the hunt. . . . to listen to command

Aderyn looked at Afanen, she seemed a bit annoyed and said to her: ''No, I told you earlier everyone needs to take a part in the hunt. Even you.'' Then she looked at Mikazaru both of them, explaining them what her plan was for the hunt today. It was a pretty long explaining, and Mikazaru didn't feel for listening to a long conversation. Still, he knew this was important, so he tried to push himself to keep listening carefully.
''Now. Of course we won't be going for the big elk bulls, with antlers, that would be a bit suicidal and probably not the bigger female elk either, I think, we should try to pick off perhaps one of the slightly smaller female elk, instead of going for any sickly or baby elk. I don't think that would feed us much, but I'll probably be wrong on this as I am expert in the running and chasing and not the picking of the elk.''
Mikazaru nodded and tried to make the whole plan settle in his head, which took pretty long. But Aderyn didn't give him a time to think, as she kept on telling. It was hard for Mikazaru to keep up with her. He wanted to tell her she had to slow down, but didn't want to sound rude. So he said nothing.
''I think I should perhaps be at the head of the chase, I could cut in front of the elk from time to time to veer it towards Agro and Chance. I also suggest that there should be two wolves who are sort of the main, well not really back up but sort of helping the elk to move along and such, I would usually put Claudius and Razzy in these positions, but seeing as I do not know two of your abilities I will go simply on how I think you will do best.''
She looked around and Mikazaru tried to look at her like he understood it all, though he was still in his processing mode, which took longer than he had expected. Mostly he understood everything someone said to him in a split second, but maybe it were his nerves messing with him, as he was pretty nervous at the time when Aderyn spoke. ''Feel free to correct me if you think I have made the wrong decision.''
''Will do.'', Mikazaru said and he grinned a bit. He was still processing it all, but now he understood a few things better. But now he still didn't know which position he had to take in this hunt. But he didn't want to ask. Maybe Aderyn would explain him in a minute.
But instead Aderyn went to talk to Marina, leaving Mikazaru and Afanen aside for a little while. Because Marina needed some explainin, too. Mikazaru took this time to get some new contacts. He took a deep breath and looked at Afanen, he started to talk to her to get to know her better. ''So, I see you're pretty quiet, too? Mostly I would talk as less as you, I don't know why I'm talking more today.'', he chuckled at that. Then he tried to correct himself. ''Anyway, don't you like to hunt?''
Aderyn turned back to them, finally telling their positions. For Mikazaru this was a sign of relief. He was bad at picking his own position. ''I think that perhaps you two would be best suited as the sort of distant back up who kind of well, do help along but not as much.'', she said and she looked at her sister. ''Yes, you are getting a sort of easier job than the rest of us but don't think that you can wriggle your way out of it by buttering me up, saying how much you lack in strength and speed and whatnot or not even trying your best.'' Then sheb started to joke: ''You also need to lose some weight and get some exercise.''
Mikazaru smiled and wagged his tail. ''That will do, I think.'', he said, happily enough with the position he was given. He didn't want to be in the spot lights anyway. He hated too much attention. He was happy.
(Thanks Aderyn, now my post is long too. XD)

"No," she said firmly. "I told you earlier everyone needs to take a part in the hunt. Even you."
"Boo!" Afanen pulled out puty face looking at her sister and rolled eyes. "I'll try my best, SISTERRR*!" she said shaking head then as Ady went away she turned after voice adressed to her, she looked at Mika.
''So, I see you're pretty quiet, too? Mostly I would talk as less as you, I don't know why I'm talking more today.'' Afanen smiled seeing another quite personality and responded with her rarely heard warm voice as she preffered to talk seriously or SERIOUSLY panic, "Yeah, I'm not a talker. I preffer listening to others. she shrughed a bit, "I guess it's me being sorta shy too." "''Anyway, don't you like to hunt?'' "No, as much as my sis doesn't want to admit it, I'm horrible hunter, I never was good hunter really...and now meh it's just not something I'm good at I guess. Afanen said her ear tips growing hot from embarassment.
"Yes, you are getting a sort of easier job than the rest of us but don't think that you can wriggle your way out of it by buttering me up, saying how much you lack in strength and speed and whatnot or not even trying your best." Afanen felt how cold hearted her sister could get when her belly was the one thinking but she remainded quiet with the respect she had for her. Rolling her eyes she growled a bit "Yeah, of course. If I get dragged in I won't run..."
"You also need to lose some weight and get some exercise." she knew her sister joked and so she played a long and put on offended face and tone in voice "Does that mean I am fat!? But I thought I looked so perfect!" it was pretty obvious Ane was just joking * - ((refference to Zelda in case you guys don't know :'D))

"I'm Marina... Tell me, do you have any idea what we've gotten ourselves into with this lot?"Dakota smirked at Marina's comment to Chance, she was amused at the fact that two pups seemed to be scaring the new comers. She rolled her eyes and shook her head with a smile, Dakota thought that Chance and Marina would be interesting to mess with at some point...if they stay that is. Perhaps in the future when she got to know the wolves she might be a bit nicer, but for now, she enjoyed making them a bit uncomfortable. At least it was a sure way to see if they could handle the guild. If they couldn't handle two pups then surely they couldn't handle bigger and worse things. 'Like Agro's farts.' Dakota chuckled to herself quietly.
''And who is who?"
The new wolf Mikazaru asked, though before Dakota could respond with a sarcastic remark to everyone in the Guild and introduce them Agro's stomach let out a growl. Dakota watched as Agro looked unamused and unceremoniously picked Damian up by the scruff. Dakota knew that Damian wouldn't like that treatment at all and smirked at him as she shook her head.
“Let go off me!”
Before Dakota could respond with a comment to Damian and his current position her eyes widened as Agro threw him over to her. She was fast, but not that fast and got knocked over by her brother's weight. She let out an annoyed growl at Agro and pushed her brother off her. She adorned the same look as her brother and pouted angrily as she grumbled to herself.
“Better'n sticking around with Sass 'n Frass here."
Dakota narrowed her eyes at Agro and the new wolf, but before she could mouth off to the alpha he gave them both a cold look which made Dakota close her mouth and shut up. She still had an irritated look on her face, but she knew the look said shut up.
"Who, if'n they know what's good fer'm, will stay out of the way. If either o' you so much as sasses one more time afore this hunt ends, neithero' you's gettin anything to eat today."
Dakota huffed as Damian growled at his threat, though Dakota's stomach growled and she looked down to the ground, “Fine. Sorry, whatever,” Dakota was a very proud wolf-dog and she didn't like to be told off, though she wanted to eat, and she didn't want her brother to go without food because of her, “Sir.”
Her brother responded to Agro before getting up and following the older male. Dakota lifted her head and watches as Damian stropped as he walked. She followed him quietly, but she continued to grumble under her breath about Agro having a fat butt. When Damian settled down, Dakota laid down beside him. She gave a big sigh as she watched everyone move into their positions.
“Ugh. Now what?” Dakota sighed as she watched the wolves with a bored face, “Are we seriously going to just have to wait? That sounds boring~” Dakota groaned to her brother as she looked around the whole area until she spotted something to do. Her eyes lit up with excitement when she noticed a bubbling spring, “Damian! Dame! Lets go swimming!” Dakota whisper shouted so the other wolves wouldn't hear her. She jumped up on her paws and started to run towards it without waiting for Damian's reply, “Come on Bro, you could do with a wash.” Dakota chuckled and winked at him before she continued to run to the source of water.Wolves Addressed: Damian and Agro Wolves Mentioned: Marina, Mikazaru, Chance, and the rest of the guild.

''Yeah, I'm not a talker. I preffer listening to others. she shrughed a bit, "I guess it's me being sorta shy too.'', Afanen said to Mikazaru and the male nodded. Afanen then responded to his other question.
''No, as much as my sis doesn't want to admit it, I'm horrible hunter, I never was good hunter really...and now meh it's just not something I'm good at I guess'', she said and Mikaza looked at Aderyn, then back at Afanen/ ''Really not? I don't think it's all that hard, actually. Maybe you should try it again, though?'', Mikazaru said, hoping he could motivate Afanen to enjoy the hunt. For some reason he felt pretty easy-going around Afanen. It just felt nice to him to have someone around who was quiet too, and loved to listen more than to speak.
''Damian! Dame! Lets go swimming! Come on Bro, you could do with a wash.'', one of the two pups said while she waited for her brother, the other pup, to follow her and swim with her. Mikazaru laughed at that. He found pups always pretty funny and full of life. These two weren't any exception.
He took a look at the other pup, called Damian, and tried to remember the name. Mikazaru was good at remembering names, so he wouldn't forget this one either. He now knew Marina, Aderyn, Afanen, Chance and Damian. At least, those names he knew for sure. Mikazaru wondered if he would learn any more other names today.
He took a glance at Aderyn and got up, stretching his front paws because those had gotten a bit numb. Then he shook his black fur. ''I think I'm going to see if I can help those out.'', he said to Adery and he looked at Afanen. ''Are you coming? Then we can get this hunt over with.'' He hoped Afanen would listen to him and follow, becaue Mikazaru was pretty hungry. And he actually wasn't that much in the mood for a hunt today either, so he would love someone to help him.

Agro grumbled to himself a little as he walked. It was something about manners or about meat, but that in itself was difficult to discern. The occasional curse could be heard uttered by the brute, but they didn't seem directed at anyone in particular.
Turning back to see the wolf following him, Agro's brow furrowed at the sight of the newcomer who followed. His tail was tight between his legs, and he looked... uneasy? Agro guessed that much of it had to do with the fact that he was a smaller wolf, probably not one who threw himself under an elk very often. Or was it he was unnerved by Agro? The thought of it nearly made him laugh out loud.
"Not to worry, boy-o." Agro said reassuringly. "I haven't lost a wolf on a hunt in almost a year." He grinned, seeming to mean well, but the fact that he had indeed lost wolves on the hunt would make some wolves nervous. "Oh, I ain't expectin' ye to throw yerself at the beasties, that's usually my job 'round here." He explained. "But I like the comp'ny, and I didn't want to leave ye with the brats fer too long. They're small, but the little male's got a bit of a mouth on 'im, as ye could disern by yer meetin' of his 'quaintance." Agro hadn't stopped or slowed since he started talking, and he kept his voice low so as to not disturb the elk.
"Ye ain't much of a talker, eh?" He said quizzically. "See, I like that in a wolf. Folks like me talk non-stop, so it's pleasin' to have a listener now 'n again. I imagine at least one a yer mates is the chatter in the group. Oh, I'm sure they'll catch up to ye soon, Chance. S'Chance, right? And maybe ye'll be up'ter chattin' more with'em around."
Seemingly suddenly satisfied with their locale, Agro lowered himself, and tensed. They were downhill of the elk, in the direction they would be running in when surprised. He would have to not which one Aderyn had sorted out for him to take down, and from here would be able to cut it off, even if it darted wildly in one direction or another.
Now they could begin.

Take a Chance. . . Chance looked up at the male he was following, Agro having started to speak to him. The scarred male sure was chatty. Quickening his pace a little, he caught up a little more. With a slight nod of his head he responded to the male as he spoke of the 'brats.' Glancing back at them, Chance wondered why they acted like that. He knew there was always a reason for something. Perhaps it was the lack of parents, he wondered, as it didn't look like any of the wolves there were mother and father to the two. "Ye ain't much of a talker, eh?""Mmm no..." he replied quietly, crouching down beside Agro. Looking over at the elk, he licked his lips. It would be nice for a good meal and much safer to catch with more wolves. He began to relax a little, because there was now only one wolf around but also because he needed to be more loose if he was going to be any good for the hunt. A tense wolf was not in sync with the others and was more likely to get hurt. "An' yeah, it's Chance." . . . to prepare to get food

Mikazaru went after the two wolves, the Meister and one wolf he knew the name of, Chance. He kept running and running, until he had caught up with them. He sat down behind them, catching his breath as the Meister was speaking. Mikazaru still didn't know his name and he felt stupid for that. He was just in time to catch up on the last sentences of their conversation.
''Ye ain't much of a talker, eh? See, I like that in a wolf. Folks like me talk non-stop, so it's pleasin' to have a listener now 'n again. I imagine at least one a yer mates is the chatter in the group. Oh, I'm sure they'll catch up to ye soon, Chance. S'Chance, right? And maybe ye'll be up'ter chattin' more with'em around.'', the Meister said to Chance while Mikazaru sat there quietly, listening.
''Mmm no... An' yeah, it's Chance.'', the wolf called Chance replied. Now Mikazaru knew for sure this wolf's name was Chance. He felt a little bit more sure about the situation already. How much he hated to intrude anything, he had to make sure these two knew he was there with them. And it didn't seem like they had seen him around yet. So he got up and cleared his throat, ready to speak.
''I'm sorry for intruding but... I was wondering if I could help you hunt...'', he said and he searched for some other words he could use to convince them he was able to help them. ''I'm pretty fast and I can run for long distances, I could lure them to your trap, if you have any...'' He swallowed, hoping they would accept his help. Because he really wanted to fit in, even though this wasn't a real pack.

''Really not? I don't think it's all that hard, actually. Maybe you should try it again, though?'' Afanen stared at ground for moment then gave the wolf a shrug, "Ignoring fact I have no other option," she said looking at her sister, "I suppose I can." the quiet female finished her sentence giving Mika a weak but smile, she found smiling awkward as she thought her smile looked weird.
“Damian! Dame! Lets go swimming!” ~ “Come on Bro, you could do with a wash.” Razzy flicked her ears at the pup's voice and watched her dash off, "Oh puppies." she said laughing quietly to herself, while Mika spoke to Aderyn.
''Are you coming? Then we can get this hunt over with.'' Catching the nervosity again Ane turned after his voice and got onto her paws, "Sure I guess," she let out unsure smile as she followed the black male to Agro and wolf that went under name 'Chance'.
''I'm sorry for intruding but... I was wondering if I could help you hunt...'' ~ ''I'm pretty fast and I can run for long distances, I could lure them to your trap, if you have any...''
Afanen perked her ears up as she catched up and thought what was she good at? Well, I could think plan of getting the elk? No I have no idea how that works... I could...I could heal them if elk hurts them! Yeah that's it! if this was an anime, Razzy would have giant 'sweat drop' on back of her head, she was completly clueless and not afraid to show it...

“Ugh. Now what?”Dakota sighed as she watched the wolves with a bored face,“Are we seriously going to just have to wait? That sounds boring~”
Damian rolled his eyes at his sister. She could real annoying with her moaning. The girl needed to know when to shut up. “Just stay quiet and watch the hunt” He mumbled as he watched the wolves ready themselves for the hunt. He wished that he could be where they were, but he was too small. He hated that. He wanted to grow up and become strong now, not wait until he grew a little bigger. He let out a little growl at the thought. Claudius, who was useless at everything, was hunting and he was made to sit back and watch that?! Damian didn't like that idea at all.
“Damian! Dame! Lets go swimming!”
“What are you talking about?” He asked unsure of what she said. Did she say swimming? He was sure she did. He watched as she danced away and towards whatever location she was determined to get to. Swimming didn't sound like a bad idea. It would be better than to watch the hunt. He'd have to see Agro or Claudius get hit by an elk another time. Damian got to his paws and trotted after his sister at his own pace. He wasn't really built for speed and his leg made sure that he would never be able to beat his sister at a race.
“Come on Bro, you could do with a wash.
“Shut up!” He snapped as he finally built up his speed and chased after her.

Claudius nodded slowly, thinking to himself. He wasn't a fast creature, but he usually kept good pace with others on hunts. In his previous packs, he was usually backup for the faster wolves as well, ready to jump in should they need someone strong enough to protect the others against their terrified quarry.
"Aye, sounds good to me, Ads, I'll be happy to provide you and Marina with backup."
Claudius watched as Mikazaru and Afanen walked away to join Agro and Chance. He turned away as Marina walked over to him, assuming that the other two wolves were following at Aderyn's instruction.
"Isn't this exciting? I can't wait! I haven't hunted elk in, like, a lifetime!"
Claudius jumped as the female shouted, and looked at her with worry as she began to laugh in terror. He wasn't sure how to respond to her. It occurred to him that she was probably nervous about the forthcoming hunt; Claudius was himself, as he didn't trust any creature bigger than what he could catch by himself. He stood there awkwardly for a moment, before speaking.
"Er... You okay there?"[/i] He asked, regretting asking the question as soon as the words left his mouth. Mentally chastising himself, he amended his words. "Don't be nervous about the hunt, everything will be fine. I'll be right next to you, promise."[/i] He looked at the nervous wolf beside him, his eyes radiating warmth, and he hoped his sense of calmness would calm her down too.
Claudius turned and grunted as he heard Dakota and Damian going off to the brook for a swim. He would preferred to have joined them; he was a much better swimmer than a hunter. Turning his wistful gaze from the direction of the brook, he addressed the two remaining wolves next to him. "Ready whenever you are, Ads,"[/i] he grunted, looking quickly to Marina and waving his tail slightly, hoping that the female would be calm enough to ready herself for the hunt too.

(Sorry, not a post) (Hello~ Dakota and I wanted our characters to sneak off to the Babbling brook without the others knowing where they are going and what they are gonna do. This is why Dakota said "“Damian! Dame! Lets go swimming!” Dakota whisper shouted so the other wolves wouldn't hear her." However, it seems that no one has read that and has heard them. The little bespeckled lass alternated between biting her lip and dancing on her paws. A million worst-case scenarios ran through her mind, including one in which she was thrown into a tree and one in which the bull elk gored her while the others stood on and admired the grisly spectacle with wide eyes.
She did not notice Claudius flinch; in fact, he had forgotten him completely until he asked with some trepidation, "Er... You okay there?"
Marina deflated. Sinking a few inches closer to the ground, she flattened her ears and fought back a small whimper. Had she been acting psychological? Claudius certainly seemed to think so. Ugh, Marina, you're a big, stupid clod! Why, she had no idea what she was doing? All she did was be friendly - right? This pack was stupid. She should leave. And she wanted to, desperately. She wasn't ready to socialize again!
The she-wolf took a step back, looking for a way out. Suddenly, the fur in a straight line from her nose to her tail rose of its own accord. The air seemed to grow chilly; she shuddered slightly, for she knew this meant terror.
"Seamus..." Her voice was barely a breath, and perhaps she imagined the puff of steam that floating from her mouth, as if it were still winter. Why must he come here, now? Marina cast her gaze wildly about, looking for a misty shape or a faint pair of eyes that burned into the back of her mind. Of course, there was nothing.
Claudius was speaking again, his words softer this time. "Don't be nervous about the hunt, everything will be fine. I'll be right next to you, promise."
Surprised by his calming voice, Marina whipped around. There was a decision she had to make: risk her life hunting, or be left alone with a spirit.
"I'll be fine," the young widow said, not bothering to hide the shakiness in her voice. "Thank you... I'm ready too, Aderyn."
She fell into an uneasy silence lest anyone think she was crazy again. Best to just shut up and take a kick to the skull without complaining.

Mikazaru got up and sat down near Chance, waiting for the Mesister in front of them to tell them what to do. Mikazaru of course knew what he had to do, because Aderyn told him, but he wanted to make sure everyone thought the same way. So he got up again and looked at Chance, who seemed somewhere in his own mind. The male took a deep breath and walked over to the Meister, almost sort of sneaking.
''Um... sir? I was wondering, what should I do now?'', he asked and he glanced back at Chance, then at the Meister again. ''Because Aderyn told me to be at the back, so I could lure the elk into your trap. Is that fine with you?''
Unsure Mikazaru sat down again, waiting for this Meister to answer him. He still didn't know this wolf's name and he was too scared to ask. But of course he had no choice than to ask, because maybe this wolf wasn't going to tell it himself. ''By the way, you never told me your name, and I don't want to make up a few, so I would like to know by what name you go, please.'' He chuckled a bit at the 'thinking up names' but son shut up again, waiting for this male to answer him. The only-one-eye-sight of this wolf scared him a bit. He still wasn't sure what to expect from this Meister in the first place.
(Had to catch up, but it's lameeeeee~)
