(Insert what Agro said)
“I don't think any farts contribute to the well being of the pack. Especially yours Big Guy.”,“As for Damian not being useful, I think he works pretty darned hard. It's not his fault he has to live in my shadow.” Damian growled at Agro's response and nodded at his sister's (well expect for the whole living in her shadow part). He was right and Agro was wrong. Claudius was useless and foolish. He left the girls on their own with who knows how many wolves. They seemed to be popping up everywhere. The girls were weak in the sense of fighting, and even if they weren't; two wolves were no match against six."If they die, it will be Claudius' fault, and you try to touch me and I'll bite you, Agro.” He snarled, flashing his teeth at their leader.
“Just you wait Agro, You've basically given him an invitation to fight for your position when he's old enough.”
“I'll fight for it right now. I'm not afraid of you!” He snapped as he positioned himself for a fight. Damian and his sister, Dakota, had to grow up fast. There was no puppyhood for them back in their old life, and they found it hard to let go of their past. Even when they were free they barely played, and even though their little fights did seem more like play, it was training for them. Training for when they were big enough to actually take on adult wolves.
Damian's head snapped to the side as he saw another wolf approaching them. “You want to fight me too? Bring it on!” He snapped. His ears were held straight up and his fur was standing up. He was ready to fight, and so he charged at the newcomer, fangs ready to taste blood.

Claudius growled quietly at Damian's words. He felt guilty for not waiting for the girls to catch up, but he wasn't worried about the newcomers; if he felt that they would've attacked, he wouldn't have left them. He nodded politely to Marina in greeting, and waved his tail when Chance caught up with him. At least they were on their way, and they could get started soon.
Turning back to the two pups, he stared at them coldly. He expected Dakota to take Damian's side, but that didn't mean he would roll over and take Damian's insults. "Do you honestly think I would be stupid enough to leave them if I thought they were in danger? And I said there were three wolves. They mentioned another three, but I couldn't sense any others in the area. They are following me, I said, not that I have to justify myself to you. And if I had wanted an opinion like yours, pup, I'd have farted and listened to that instead."[/b]
He turned to the two new wolves, his eyes warm with greeting. "Greetings to both of you. I am Claudius, and you are most welcome to join us on the hunt. This, everyone is..."[/b] Claudius paused while he tried to remember which of the three wolves he had just met had joined them. "...Chance. This is Chance. He's come to join us on the hunt."
“I'll fight for it right now. I'm not afraid of you! You want to fight me too? Bring it on!”
Claudius turned to look at Damian, a look of cold fury in his eyes. "Calm yourself. Chance has not even spoken yet," his voice full of quiet anger. He knew that the pup wouldn't listen, so he stood between the pup and Chance. He knew that Damian wouldn't hurt Chance, but he needed to learn to behave himself and control his anger a bit. And, out of the two of them, Claudius would care the least about being bowled into by an angry Damian.

Dakota noticed the cold look that Claudius gave both herself and Damian and chuckled. Though she also noticed the slightly guilty expression the wolf had adorned on his face a moment before, and nodded in agreement. He should feel a bit of guilt for not thinking, such a daft wolf, Dakota thought. She returned the expression back with a wicked grin knowing that he had something to say. Dakota couldn't wait for this, she had fun arguing with Claudius because it annoyed him and that always gave Dakota a little pleasure.
Do you honestly think I would be stupid enough to leave them if I thought they were in danger?
“Yes. Yes we do.” Dakota interjected before he could continue in an honest tone. She just stared at Claudius as he continued his 'explanation'.
They are following me, I said
Dakota scoffed and shook her head, “People can promise and say a lot of things. Doesn't mean they're going to follow through.” There was a hint of bitterness in her voice from her past but she ignored it and erased it as she continued with a smile, “It's a bit like me promising not to trip Damian up today. You know that's a lie, because you know me. But we don't know these new wolves and what they're capable of.” Dakota reasoned in a cool tone before she looked at Chance who had approached, “No offence.”
And if I had wanted an opinion like yours, pup, I'd have farted and listened to that instead."
“Ooh~ Way to recycle Agro's joke to get more points with him.” Dakota responded sarcastically to the wolf in front of her as she gave a wink. She chuckled to herself and walked to the top of the hill where she would get a better vantage point of the oncoming wolves and the elk on the other side. She sat down and watched the elk as her stomach grumbled. She didn't want to wait much longer...
“I'll fight for it right now. I'm not afraid of you! You want to fight me too? Bring it on!”
Dakota groaned and rolled her eyes at Damian as Claudius stood between the new wolf and her brother, “Oi, Stubby! I'm starving, can we not fight until after food?”

The tall, slender she-wolf sped after Claudius eager to get to the hunt before it started that is if it had not already started and finished, but she doubted that. She had started off at a quick pace but was now doing a pace which she called ‘slow’ so that the others could keep up with her. Addy spotted her Guildmates as well as another wolf that she did not recognise. Her paws thrummed on the earth as she approached, she then skidded to a halt and was in time to witness Damian charging at Chance and Claudius ending up standing between them.
“Glad to see you haven’t started without me!” she smiled. “You wouldn’t start without me, right?” she then added uncertainly. Aderyn then went on to apologise to her Guildmates, “Sorry that I’m kinda late everyone. Me and Razzy met another wolf who would like to join. His name is Mikazuru,” she informed her Guildmates. The she-wolf then turned to look at the furious Damian. “What’s the matter Damian?” she asked. ‘What could Damian be angry about now?’ she thought to herself, looking at the dark furred pup. She was pretty certain that Claudius would’ve explained that there were new wolves, so, why had Damian charged at Chance?
She then looked up and set her limey-green gaze on the unfamiliar wolf. She was meeting a lot of unfamiliar wolves today. “And who is this?” she asked curiously. Her eyes looked at the wolf’s colouring and markings, which seemed rather odd to Aderyn, but then again her own markings could be classed as odd as well. Aderyn had never met a wolf with these markings before; she had seen many a tawny coloured wolf before but never a wolf with spots like this. “New possible Guild member?” she joked. Not that she thought this wolf would be an ill-fit to the Guild, just with how many wolves who would become members she had met today she would’ve found it a bit uncanny that another wolf would join. “Must be our lucky day!” she grinned.

As the next moments passed, it became increasingly clear that the group Marina had stumbled into was not as friendly as it first appeared. One pup was making sarcastic remarks, another snarling at everyone, or maybe no one. The white male who introduced himself as Claudius made a fart joke (Marina couldn't decide if this was amusing or disgusting) and a sixth wolf had appeared and was looking upon the rest with mild terror.
It was this wolf - Claudius called him "Chance" - that the bespeckled hybrid decided to hide behind. She flattened her ears, resisting the urge to bite her lip in anxiety. It was companionship she wanted, not to watch verbal fights all day. If this group would argue in front of strangers, how were they on her own? What if they picked her apart, insulted random things about her? What if they had a problem with her lineage? In reality, the lass was being irrational, but in her mind these threats were very real.
Still, her stomach was growling. She would hunt with them and see how things went from there. Surely she could handle a bit of social stress in return for a cheap meal. Until Agro, who she assumed was in charge, started the hunt, she would just have to avoid everyone else.
"Ay, Chance is it?" The wolfdog's voice was quiet; she did not want to somehow bring herself into the argument. "I'm Marina... Tell me, do you have any idea what we've gotten ourselves into with this lot?"
She jumped at a new voice; another lass (finally) was watching her with friendly green eyes.
"And who is this?" the stranger wondered aloud. "Another possible guild member?"
Marina did bite her lip this time. She didn't like the way this wolf was looking at her - almost as if she was an oddity. If she says anything about my coat I am going to... Be really upset!
“Must be our lucky day!” Suddenly, the lass grinned. Marina sighed in relief and offered a weak smile back.
"Marina," she said for the third time that day.

Take a Chance. . . Chance was surprised by the male pup's sudden verbal attack. His ears flicked forward before falling against his head as the young one charged at him. He glanced around not sure what to do. He didn't know these pups and didn't know these wolves, so he didn't know what they would take as a threat. Because of that he couldn't very well defend himself. The male would have to just keep away from the aggressive pup. Luckily for Chance, as he was taking a few steps back, Claudius stepped between him and the one charging him, the larger male scolding the pup. The other pup yelled at her brother, trying to get him to back down as well. His observation of her was brief as his attention turned back to the two pups. He liked pups but he wasn't so sure of that little male. That was when the new female came up behind him. Unsure of himself and being surrounded, Chance held his tail between his legs, sometimes swishing it to his side. The female spoke to him in a quiet voice, clearly distressed by the fighting going on. He nodded in response to his name. Before he could reply however, another wolf arrived, one of the females Chance recognised from before. Glancing around he looked for one of his siblings so he wouldn't be surrounded by strangers and help him feel less nervous. . . . to be defended.

Afanen followed the group quietly walking on the end. The female wasn't talker when it came to meeting new wolves, actually she preffered to be quiet and the one to listen.
Catching up with others, she noticed another new -what seemed to be- she-wolf talking to her sister. "Marina," Interesting name, Afanen thought to herself as she sat down close to others.
Her ears remained perked up the whole time as she tried to listen to the conversation. Meanwhile listening, she looked around scanning the area with her golden eyes.
She then heard Damian's voice -not full conversation though- and turned to face him seeing Claudius with, not-so-amused expression on his face and the new wolf, Chance was it?, unsurely standing there.
A frown creeped into previous cold face of Afanen as she thought of Damian, 'Pup or not, he HAS to learn how to control himself, it's not like everyone will always be there to help if he gets in big trouble...' she spoke in her mind to herself quietly. Then she focused on rest of the wolves surrounding her

Mikazaru had followed Aderyn to the hunting grounds. Once they saw other wolves, they stopped. Mikazaru saw two small pups and at least four adult wolves, him and Aderyn not included.
''Glad to see you haven’t started without me! You wouldn’t start without me, right?'', Aderyn said and then she went on to apologise to her Guildmates. ''Sorry that I’m kinda late everyone. Me and Razzy met another wolf who would like to join. His name is Mikazuru.'' It made Mikazaru smile shyly when Aderyn spoke of him and he looked around at the wolves carefully, respectfully. ''It's nice to meet you all...'', he mumbled and he sat down, not sure if he had to go hunt, wait for someone to order him or for the Meisters to come and greet him. He was just sitting there, feeling a bit lost.
''So, who are the Meisters?'', he asked, loooking around again. ''And who is who?'' At his last sentence he chuckled a bit. Of course he wanted to know the other's names. He knew Aderyn and Afanen already, but the others still were unknown to him. He had heard the name Damian, Marina and Chance passing by, but wasn't sure which name belonged to which wolf.

A rumble in Agro's stomach reminded him that he'd come here not for chatter, but for a meal. Although, he could practially still feel the nipping of his old mother for rudeness before he could blow off these newcomers and take his hunting position. He mentally cursed the old she-beast before speaking up.
Greetings would come, but probably not until he had the raging cub under control. Agro had never considered himself a gentle soul, and didn't plan on it right now. When the pup charged and Claudius stepped between them, Agro grabbed the cub the the scruff of his neck, considerably more roughly than he had before. With a flick of his neck, he tossed the pup back toward where his sister smirked and commented, like he hardly weighed anything at all.
He honestly hoped it would startle the two into a bit of quiet. He was getting tired of Dakota's mouthiness today too. Every spring their guild needed to attract more members, since so many were lost in the winter. And these two hooligans were like to drive them off.
The one-eyed wolf looked at Chance and Mikazaru, and gave them a nod. "All I am right now is hungry." He said in response to questions of who was who. "Maybe after I get some meat in my belly I'll be a meister, and we can chat about it then." He said. "We still got wolves coming? If'n they do, keep 'em with you." Turning to look at the guildwolves, he nodded to Aderyn. "Alright, Ads, you're in charge of the runnin'. Tell 'em what to do, but make sure they get to me. Now er, Chance, was it? Yer comin' with me." He grinned at the sight of the shy wolf. "Now don't you worry now, son, t'ain't goin' to be so bad, since ye got ol' Aggy wit'cha. Better'n sticking around with Sass 'n Frass here."
He looked at the pups cooly then. "Who, if'n they know what's good fer'm, will stay out of the way. If either o' you so much as sasses one more time afore this hunt ends, neither o' you's gettin anything to eat today." He didn't want to dole out a punishment like that, but the two cared more about eachother than they liked to admit. Even Damian could hold his tongue to make sure his sister didn't go to bed hungry tonight.
"Well then, maties, get those elk moving." He said with a final turn. "Come on then, Chance. Let's get into position." The poor wolf didn't even seem to be allowed a say in the matter as the large mongolian led the way around the herd through the tall grasses.

Damian let out a growl as Claudius stood in front of him, stopping him attacking the intruder. He snorted in annoyances, before he decided that if Claudius wanted to be the butt of the attack, then fine. Damian charged at Claudius with his motive to hurt the older wolf a little. Claudius was annoying, useless and whatever else the wolf was. Damian didn't care anymore, he had stopped him from doing what he wanted.
However, before Damian could even leave a mark on the white wolf, he felt himself flying through the air. Agro had grabbed him by his scruff. “Let go off me!” He screamed at the older wolf. He twisted and struggled as he tried to bite the male. Damian was not up for being treated like a pup, despite that he was one. He was a little surprised when Agro actually listened to his wish...well sort of. The pup was flung to the ground and tumbled into his sister, knocking them both down to the floor.
Damian untangled himself from his sister and pouted next to her. He wanted to rip Claudius and Agro open. He could take them. He would make sure they treated him with respect.
"Who, if'n they know what's good fer'm, will stay out of the way. If either o' you so much as sasses one more time afore this hunt ends, neithero' you's gettin anything to eat today."
Damian growled quietly at the threat, but quickly let it die as he didn't want to lose his or his sister's dinner. “Yes, sir” He snarled as he sent a glare Agro's way, making it clear that he was not happy. Not at all. He got up and followed the older male with a sour strop lingering on his cute little face. He found a nice little grassy area where he could easier hide from predators and make sure that the elk could not see him. He lay down and waited for the action to begin, slightly hoping that Agro would get kicked by an elk.

Mikazaru saw a wolf with one eye, a male. He didn't say his name, neither did he look all that happily with the arrival of new wolves. But Mikazaru didn't blame him; this male looked hungry, and when a wolf is hungry, he can get grmpy easily.
''All I am right now is hungry.'', the wolf said and Mikazaru smirked a bit, hoping this wolf didn't see it. He knew he was hungry, he had seen it in his one eye from the moment he arrived at these grounds. ''Maybe after I get some meat in my belly I'll be a meister, and we can chat about it then.'' Mikazaru looked up. So this wolf was a Meister. Mikazaru had to aproach this wolf after the hunt, if he wanted to become a part of this Guild. That wouldn't be easy though, if this male stayed hungry after the hunt. Mikazaru could read others, and knew for sure that he had to show respect to this wolf. So he did. He just stayed there with Aderyn, behind her, quiet and his head a bit lowered. He wasn't going to act dominant, he wasn't made for that. He just wanted to join this Guild, survive and maybe make some new friends, that was all.
The Meister turned to Aderyn and said: ''Alright, Ads, you're in charge of the runnin'. Tell 'em what to do, but make sure they get to me.'' Then he looked at another wolf, which Mikazaru still couldn't name. He had a few names in his mind, butdidn't know which name belonged to which wolf, still. ''Now er, Chance, was it? Yer comin' with me.'' So that wolf was Chance. Now Mikazaru knew that for sure. Only a few more wolves to learn their names from. He didn't want to make any name mistakes on his first day, though.
He looked at Aderyn and came standing next to her, as he trusted her the most of all the other wolves around. Of course he did, because she was the one who greeted him at first. He looked at her, then at the male wolf that seemed to be a Meister and then back at Aderyn. ''So, what are we gonna do now?'', he asked, not sure if he had to follow the Meister or stay with Aderyn and Afanen, Aderyn's sister. He didn't want to get into any trouble. ''Shall I go help them with the hunt? I mean, I think I can help...''
He groaned and todl himself to shut up, then he sat down. He had to keep his mouth shut. He didn't want to cause any trouble. He shouldn't have said he could help them. If they let him help them and he envenomed it all, they probably wouldn't let him into the Guild. So he decided to stay quiet and just sit there, staring at the ground and flicking his ears now and then to check up on any sounds around him.

Claudius stood in front of Chance, growling quietly at Damian. The pup's rudeness and lack of respect annoyed him, and he was fast getting fed up of Dakota as well. He ignored her remarks towards him, not bothering to even acknowledge that he'd heard her. He narrowed his eyes coldly at Damian, ready to snarl should he continue to charge into him.
That was when Agro picked the angry pup up by the scruff of the neck, and tossed him towards Dakota. With a slight nod, Claudius stepped away from Chance, satisfied that Damian wouldn't try anything again, to scare Chance, or any of the newcomers for that matter, away. He noticed that Marina was hiding behind Chance, and looked at her warmly, hoping to lower her fears. At Agro's command, he turned to Aderyn, allowing himself a small grin. He was useless when it came to hunting, so it would be up to her to decide where the lumbering white beast would be during the hunt.
''So, what are we gonna do now? Shall I go help them with the hunt? I mean, I think I can help...''
Claudius turned to the wolf that was standing next to Aderyn. "Mikazaru, was it? No worries, you can help us. Aderyn here is the expert, she'll know how you can help us. I'm Claudius, by the way, I'm also one of the guild's Meisters."[/b]
He looked at all the wolves around him. Aderyn, Afanen, Mikazaru, Marina and himself would be the ones chasing the elk. He would most likely be backup for Aderyn, like he usually was on big hunts. He flicked his plumy white tail in anticipation, awaiting Aderyn's instructions.

Afanen twitched her ears a bit and became a little unsure. The hunt was 'bout to happen, but the female wasn't the one to take liking in that. She got onto her paws and skipped closer to her sister whispering in her ear, "Ady, can I skip the hunt...plleeeeasssee?"
She spoke quietly feeling a bit embarassed, but then again in her eyes she OBVIOUSLY looked like someone who doesn't hunt or isn't even built to hunt, she sighed a bit and looked nervously around her facing Claudius and Mikazaru.
Razzy decided to sit down and relax until her sister responsed to her and maybe prepare to watch the hunt - yep, she's already been counting with not hunting. As easy as hunting may seemed she thoguht of herself as thinker and care-taker not runner or hunter.

He walked around a few times, then he sat down, his tail curled around his paws. He looked at the sky and yawned, then he looked at the other Meister who was leading Chance to the elk. He still wan't sure if he should go after them. Maybe Aderyn would help him out, as this Meister called Claudius had told him she was an expert at hunting. ''Ady, can I skip the hunt...plleeeeasssee?''Mikazaru looked around to see Afanen, talking to her sister Aderyn. Probably she didn't want to hunt today. Her reaction to Aderyn made Mikazaru chuckle. ''Ah, I'm sure you will be fine.'', he said, grinning and wagging his tail. Afanen looked nervously at Claudius and thewn at Mikazaru. Mikazaru looked away, blushing. He felt a bit embarassed. He wasn't used to making eye contact with another wolf he didn't even know well. I'm starting to wonder what I'm even doing here...'', he mumbled to himself, again getting pretty unsure of the situation. He always felt shy around other/new wolves. He wanted to punish himself for it so badly. (Lame post is lame )

"Alright, Ads, you're in charge of the runnin'. Tell 'em what to do, but make sure they get to me."
"Okie dokie, Agro!" Aderyn jumped slightly with an excited bounce. She turned to look at everyone a broad grin on her face, her tail wagging excitedly. Her mind whirred as she quickly devised a plan on how to disturb the elk and pick out one. She thought it wouldn't be wise to go for one of the big antlered ones or the strong female. She was about to open her mouth to suggest something but shut her mouth as Mika asked something.
''So, what are we gonna do now? Shall I go help them with the hunt? I mean, I think I can help...''
"Mikazaru, was it? No worries, you can help us. Aderyn here is the expert, she'll know how you can help us. I'm Claudius, by the way, I'm also one of the guild's Meisters."
She had been about to suggest something to Mika, but Claud beat her to it. If a wolf could blush she would, she considered herself to be good at these type of things but not an expert and the praise warmed her heart and broadened her grin. Aderyn still wasn't a particular expert on the planning of the chasing of an elk but she was getting there. Her eyes looked at them all and saw them looking at her expectantly, she opened her jaws yet again to say her plan.
"Ady, can I skip the hunt...plleeeeasssee?"
Aderyn let out a sigh then gave her sister a hard look. Normally she didn't get annoyed very easily, but with her sister now that was a different story. "No," she said firmly. "I told you earlier everyone needs to take a part in the hunt. Even you." Aderyn emphasised on the last words and looked at her with the 'understood?' look, which was a look that really left no option. Aderyn knew she would probably recieve some kind of rude remark but she didn't care at that moment. Her own belly had started to rumble, begging for food and when Addy was hungry, oh boy. Nothing could stop her from getting some kind of food.
"Now," she took a pause and looked at everyone individually to see if they had anymore interruptions. "Of course we won't be going for the big elk bulls, with antlers, that would be a bit suicidal and probably not the bigger female elk either," she paused thinking on how to express what she thought was best. "I think, we should try to pick off perhaps one of the slightly smaller female elk, instead of going for any sickly or baby elk. I don't think that would feed us much, but I'll probably be wrong on this as I am expert in the running and chasing and not the picking of the elk." As said before, Addy wasn't great at explaining, whenever she said something it sounded good in her head but whenever she said it out loud it didn't make much sense.
"I think I should perhaps be at the head of the chase," she started off with how she thought they would best work as a group. "I could cut in front of the elk from time to time to veer it towards Agro and Chance. I also suggest that there should be two wolves who are sort of the main, well not really back up but sort of helping the elk to move along and such, I would usually put Claudius and Razzy in these positions, but seeing as I do not know two of your abilities I will go simply on how I think you will do best." She survayed Mika and Marina quickly and assessed what she thought they could do. "Feel free to correct me if you think I have made the wrong decision."
"Marina," she turned to the speckled she-wolf and twitched her ears. "You seem small and lithe so I suspect you're pretty quick on your feet, so I think you should perhaps be in that main sort of back-up position with Claudius I think. I think it would be could to have a combination of strength and speed on that part of the team."
She took a breath then turned to look at Mikazuru and her sister. "I think that perhaps you two would be best suited as the sort of distant back up who kind of well, do help along but not as much."She then narrowed her eyes at Razzy. "Yes, you are getting a sort of easier job than the rest of us but don't think that you can wriggle your way out of it by buttering me up, saying how much you lack in strength and speed and whatnot or not even trying your best." Aderyn may have come across as rude to her sister but she usually got fed up with her sister's excuses not to partake in hunts very easily. Then her trademark grin returned and said in a joking manner, "You also need to lose some weight and get some exercise."
She took a deep breath after all that explaining. "As I said before," she looked at all the wolves and smiled sheepishly. "If you think you'd be better suited in another position or have any suggestions on how my poor plan can be improved. Please let me know as I am still not particularly good at this explaining malarky."
